The Parenteral Support Patient Diary (PSPD) was created to assist people who require parenteral support. It allows you to track your weight and all aspects of your intake and output. Collecting this data will help you take an active role in the management of your condition as it will assist you and your doctor in making important treatment decisions.
You have two options for tracking personal data with the diary:
• You can download an application (app) to your mobile device and track your data there, or
• You can access the web version through your browser to record and edit your personal data online.
If you select the app for your mobile device, you can still view your data on the website, but you cannot record or edit your data there. If you select the web version, any data you track within it will be transferrable (for viewing and editing) to the app if you decide later to download the app and track via that method.
Please note:
• This Parenteral Support Patient Diary is not a replacement for seeing a licensed healthcare professional.
• All of your information is kept completely confidential. To further protect your data, the PSPD application requires a passcode while your website account can only be accessed with a user name and login password.
• One optional feature of the PSPD allows you to share information with a healthcare professional, but you do not have to.
Information for HCPs
Healthcare professionals (HCPs) can only view their patient’s data from the website, but are not able to edit this data. No mobile version is available to HCPs for data viewing.
PSPD will allow you to see accurate reports of your patients’ nutritional health between visits, providing they are registered. If a patient agrees to allow you access to their tracking data, you can view and follow the progress of their weight, intake and output on a regular basis.
